I was getting my daily dose of reddit when I found this tech gem. A 1 TB system; 32 x 48 LRDIMM. LRDIMM translates to Load-Reduce DIMM and is basically optimized for servers that host multiple virtual machines. More info here. Redditor r0kud uses these to test for stability on virtual machines.
