I was getting my daily dose of reddit when I found this tech gem. A 1 TB system; 32 x 48 LRDIMM. LRDIMM translates to Load-Reduce DIMM and is basically optimized for servers that host multiple virtual machines. More info here. Redditor r0kud uses these to test for stability on virtual machines.

Well, it looks like it. AMD has launched a page it's own Radeon-branded memory modules on this page. These memory modules are specifically tuned to their lines of processors for optimal performance. And like the current market setup, they have 3 segments to accomodate the specific needs of each.
