Overclockers rejoice. Intel has introduced what seems like an insurance policy for overclockers who love suicide runs. For the non-technical; a suicide run is an overclock attempt beyond the processor's rated specifications for a short period of time, all for the sake of benching. This ordeal is very risky for the processor, your run the risk of killing it due to insane voltages being added into it which is not uncommon for suicide runs.

Lifeproof iPhone 4s Pool Test

I recently got the chance to go to the beach and finally put the Lifeproofed iPhone 4s to the test.

 

For those of you who don't know, Lifeproof from www.Lifeproof.com is water/shock/snow/dirt proof case made for the iPhone.  I like it because it doesn't make your phone that thick.  It is still considered sizable but isn't that bad compared to other weather proof cases for the iPhone 4/4s.

Gigabyte's X79 UD3, UD5, G1.Assassin 2 Motherboards Recalled!

Here's something I haven't seen from Gigabyte in a while, a recall on this manufacturer's lineup; G1.Assassin 2, x79 UD3 and UD5. Apparently, there is an issue with it's VRM causing MOSFETs to blow up. The culprit is a bad firmware programming and cheap components. Talk about cheap stuffs in a high-end board but check out the video, it'll show you what it looks like when the board is subjected to even moderate voltage adjustments.
